1. Deleted Messages, Photos can be retained in Instagram: 

Highlights: 

The security researcher was rewarded by Instagram for finding the bug. 

Instagram was storing data even after users deleted it and says it removes everything after 90 days of deletion. 

When Pokharel used ‘Data Download,' Instagram's data download tool, the researcher found photos and private messages with other users that he had previously deleted. He then told the same to Instagram and was awarded $6,000, said the report. The issue had been fixed and that they did not find any evince of abuse. 

Instagram had also rolled out a feature last year that gives users control over the personal information shared with third-parties through Instagram. 

2. Android Phones Now Earthquake Detectors : “Google” 

Japan, Mexico, and California use land-based sensors to generate warnings. 

"We are on a path to delivering earthquake alerts wherever there are smartphones," said Richard Allen, director of The University of California. 

Google emerged for week-long session 4 – ½ years ago to test accelerometers in phones could detect car crashes, earthquakes, and tornadoes. 

Android phones can currently separate earthquakes from vibrations caused by thunder. If phones detect an earthquake, they send their city-level location to Google and can detect with as few as several hundred reports. 

Alerts will trigger for earthquakes magnitude 4.5 or greater, and no app download is necessary. 

The system will not work in regions including China where Google’s Play Services software is blocked. 

3. Requirements Announced For Marvel’s Avengers PC System : 

Marvel's Avengers won't run on anything lower than 64-bit Windows 10 and you will need a minimum of 8GB RAM. Additionally, the Avengers game has a few PC-exclusive features as well: support for an unlocked framerate, ultra-wide resolutions, and multiple monitors, along with a 30GB optional high-resolution texture pack. 

Of course, Marvel’s Avengers will offer keyboard and mouse support on PC, with the option to fully customize controls as per your liking. You can choose to play with controllers too if you wish.

Marvel's Avengers releases September 4 on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One. It will be a launch title on PS5 and Xbox Series X. 

 Redmi G to launch Gaming NOTEBOOK by August 14 

Xiaomi official stated through its Weibo channel that 

they will announce the Redmi G gaming NOTEBOOK it will break to the market on August 14. 

Lu Weibing said on Weibo that they will try their best to offer Notebook under $720. 

Features of Redmi G: 

Weibo tipster has revealed that Redmi’s upcoming gaming laptop is expected to use the unreleased i5-10200H processor. 

The laptop will feature a 16.1-inch large screen, 144Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB color gamut, and a 15-10200H+GTX 1650 hardware configuration. 

In terms of naming perspective, the specifications of the i5-10200H should be lower than the i5-10300H on the market. 

From the appearance point of view, this brand new model adopts an all-black mech design and is known as an ‘all-rounder’. From the picture, you can observe that all sides except the bottom is too narrow and huge heat dissipation holes on both sides of the fuselage. 

 On August 18 Realme C12 to be unveiled in India with its new Features 

After C11 and C15 now Realme to announce a new member to C lined up, C12. 

Realme announced it will unveil the C12 on August 18 through an online event in India that will be streamed on the company's YouTube channel as well as Facebook and Twitter accounts starting 12:30PM local time. This new Realme member will pack a 6000 mAH battery. However, the C12 passed through Geekbench recently, revealing a Helio P35 SoC under the hood paired with 3GB RAM. 

Besides C12, Realme is going to put forward C15 to India on August 18. Powered by Helio G35 SoC, featuring sports a 6.5" HD+ display with 5 cameras –an 8MP selfie shooter on the front and a 13MP primary back camera joined by an 8MP ultrawide,2MP monochrome, and 2MP depth sensor units, and packs a 6,000 mAh battery that charges through a MicroUSB port at up to 18W. 

 Google to give bedtime Mode in its Clock App: 

Google to unfold its brand new tab called BEDTIME in its Clock App to almost all android devices. This will help users to have a good and healthy sleep by tracking screen time a night and set a sleep playlist. Google has also announced that Bedtime tab in the Clock App enables users to also wake up more gently. This tab can be set up using Digital Wellbeing which facilitates subtle lighting and sound clues like- 

->Your phone will star dim

->Notifications shut up

->Emails and texts are paused

->Soothing sounds start playing 

Google stated in the blog post. 

“Remember that time when checking one notification turned into staying up an hour past your bedtime? We bet you weren't too happy. So we created Bedtime mode to remind you when it's time for bed and limit interruptions by keeping your phone dark and quiet while you sleep” 

Google also mentioned this in their video that it can help users a lot “Once upon a time, sleep came naturally. And thanks to Android, it can again.” 

Redmi 9 Prime First Impressions : Best smartphone under Rs 10,000?

Redmi 9 Prime is Xiaomi's yet another budget offering for the Indian market. The device has been launched under Rs 10,000. Upfront, Redmi 9 Prime has a 6.53-inch LCD and also display has a Full HD+ resolution. To offer maximum screen, the display has a water-drop notch narrow bezels minus the chin area. The 8MP front camera clicks decent quality selfies. This is available with three color options -- Space Blue, Sunrise Flare, Matte Black. There is a 13MP primary sensor at the helm which is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth lens. 

Apple releases iOS 13.6.1 and iPadOS 13.6.1 

Apple has released iOS 13.6.1 and iPadOS 13.6.1 to all supported devices.it promises to get rid of green tint on some displays, which was caused by a thermal management issue, apparently. It also fixes an issue that disabled Exposure Notifications for some users. Moreover, an issue that prevented unneeded system data files from being automatically deleted when storage got low has been addressed, which should be useful for owners of older iPhones and iPads with not a lot of storage space available to begin with. The iOS 13.6.1 update is a 110MB download and should be ready for install right away if you check for it through Settings > General > Software Update. You may have already been notified about it. 

Copy-paste not working on Windows 10..!! 

Windows 10's next feature update will come with a new panel that will allow users to copy emojis, GIFs, and content from their clipboards and paste them in documents. Earlier, Microsoft had announced that the Windows 10X will be released for single-screen laptops before directly coming to dual-screen devices. There will be a homepage where users can access their recently used emoji and GIFs. It will also allow them to search for new ones. Additionally, it will let users access symbols and kaomoji - a popular Japanese emoticon style. Other key features of the Windows 10X, like faster Windows Updates experience, may also be coming to Windows 10. It is worth mentioning that Microsoft did not explicitly say that it will bring some features of the more refined Windows 10X to Windows 10.
