· COVID made people tailor:
It is scientifically proven that using face covering can reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19. But not all masks are created equal, according to new research.
Amanda Wilson is the lead author of
the study published on the ability of a variety of non-traditional mask
materials to protect a person from infection after 30 seconds and after 20
minutes of exposure in a highly contaminated environment.
Apart from N99 and N95 masks used by
medical professionals reduce 94-99% of the risk, homemade masks reduce 58% for
a 20-minute exposure. Of the other non-traditional materials evaluated by the
researchers, tea towels, cotton-blend fabrics, and antimicrobial pillowcases
were the next best for protection.

In
recent days NASA bowled over the internet by releasing pictures of the sun from
the closest spot of a hot celestial body. These mesmerizing pictures were taken
during the Solar Orbiter mission, which is a joint venture of NASA with
European space agencies. These pictures were clicked from 48 million miles away
from the sun.
ESA also revealed
that a new phenomenon seen on the sun in the pictures is called ‘Campfires.’
They are similar to solar flares that can be seen in small size from the earth.

Hacked Of Some High Profile Accounts:
On Wednesday, Twitter Accounts of some high profile personalities like Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Kanye west and others were hacked, got viral and came into attention when fake tweets offer $2000 for every $1000 sents to a Bitcoin address, , then tweets got deleted, shared fake tweets again. Some netizens assumed biggest hack to date, some thought the tweets were real and gave their bitcoins away. Many called it “Money Heist”.

LINKEDIN to cut off almost its 1000
jobs, 960 roles, and a total 6% of its workforce to be eliminated as COVID 19
constrained demand for the Company’s recruitment tools.
LinkedIn Chief Executive Officer Ryan
Roslansky announced the move in a Monday email to employees.
“COVID-19 has a sustained impact on
the demand for hiring, both in our LTS business and our company,” Roslansky
said.
A lot of workers lost their jobs due
to this, but few companies are seeking to find new employees, are in a way to
grab this opportunity.
· Apple To Launch Second Generation Air Pods Pro In 2021:
DigiTimes reported Apple is planning to unveil the next generation Air Pods Pro in 2021, will be assembled by Inventec Appliances in Vietnam.
What makes it special is that it lets the
manufacturers pack more components into a compact space as compared to SMT. Equipping the inside of a True Wireless earbud is a
challenge when you have to incorporate Siri’s voice commands and take care of
voice cancellations, connectivity and battery, etc. within their compact size.
Apple would stick to SiP technology for upcoming Air Pods product, as it helps
in reducing the form factor of the earbuds.

DigiTimes has reported Apple is spinning up to produce new ARM-powered MacBooks as well as new tablets. The Company expects more sales compared to 2019. The new I-Pad Air, with a 10.8” screen adopting I-Phone SE strategy uses the A12 chipset and starts at $500 for the 64GB models.
New Air may be the first non – Pro to drop the lightning port and adopt USB –C instead. As for Apple’s laptops 13” models of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, are allegedly in development, set to release by the end of this year.
